Gruevski asks the court not to bother him every day court cases

“Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday … I’m at court every day. Zoran Zaev is scheduled to be at court every two months, me, every day. This is no longer a trial. This is a farce. This is ill-treatment”, said former prime minister, Nikola Gruevski, accusing Judge Ognen Stavrev at the Basic Court Skopje 1, who at today’s hearing, changed the case “TNT” to a weekly hearing.

Gruevski asked why, even though he was promised the recordings at the last hearing. It still is yet to happen.

“And what if there are private conversations in there?” Asked Gruevski.

Stavrev said that he does not know what is in the evidence and that he should not know, however, when they will be heard in the courtroom, then the public can be excluded.

At today’s continuation of the trial regarding the demolition of the “Kosmos” building, owned by Fiat Canovski, the lawyers of Nikola Gruevski, Mile Janakieski, former Mayor of Gazi Baba, Toni Trajkovski and four other municipal officials, stubbornly asked for the wiretaps and threatened that if the SPO would not hand the so-called “bombs” over, they would complain to the European Court for Human Rights in Strasbourg.
