Last night, Mayor of Novaci Lazar Kotevski fell into a pit, which was made during the digging of the embankment of the river Crna.
Workers say that Kotevski was with them at the embankments of river Crna three nights in a row, and at one point, while the excavator was digging, he slipped and fell into the pit. Workers immediately took him out of the mud.
– I’m not hurt, I got through easy. I slipped, but the pit wasn’t deep. Floods have left us without sleep, not only me, but all the inhabitants of Pelagonija. But these three nights was really dramatic, so there was no time to rest. All will pass soon, but we have to overcome the situation with the flooding – said Kotevski.
