The Government mandated the Ministry of Finance to draft , in cooperation with the Ministry of Health, a call for a loan for the construction of the new Clinical Center. The plan is to obtain loan from financial institutions, bilateral creditors or foreign commercial banks.
The appraisal of the procedure for the construction of the new Clinical Center that was adopted at yesterday’s 134th Government session produced on the basis of the Feasibility study and on the basis of the data obtained from the clinics, an integrated facility of up to five floors is proposed, with about 102,000 square meters surface. It would have 1,300 hospital beds, 20 operating rooms, four halls for angiography, 8 maternity hospitals and 65 ambulances.
At yesterday’s 134th session, the Government also mandated the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Transport and Communications to define the responsibilities and competencies of the public enterprises.
