“The Special Commissioner for the Western Balkans, Turkey and the EFTA countries, Dr. Ernst Rajhel on the 28th of October 2015 invited the Macedonian Ambassador in Berlin, Saso Markovski for a discussion at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, to express his disappointment and concerns about the Federal Government’s implementation of the Przhino Agreement, which is still insufficient”, announced the German Embassy in its statement in Skopje.
The Embassy’s statement says that “as one of the five ambassadors in his statement of 27 October in Skopje, Dr. Rajhel also noted that the VMRO-DPMNE must show the necessary will and as soon as possible, to show constructive behaviour towards the implement the agreements of June the 2nd and July the 15th, 2015”.
“The whole point of the agreement is to create equal opportunities for all parties for the forthcoming elections, in particular through the implementation of the recommendations for reform contained in the so-called Priebe report. Further non-implementation will have consequences on the assessment of the country by the European Commission in the upcoming progress report, “said the statement by the German Embassy.
They added that Dr Rajhel also stressed that the SDSM must continue to act constructively and to comply with the obligations undertaken in the Przhino Agreement, “in particular, to stop publishing further recordings of telephone conversations.”
