Agretim Asani, a DUI functionary, was gunned down in Struga with five bullets this afternoon reports the newspaper Lajm“.
He was the Deputy Director of the UJP (Public Revenue Office).
The newspaper says Asani was close with vice Prime Minister Musa Dzaferi. The motive and perpetrators are still unknown.
DUI condemned the way Lajm reported on the story, negating their claim that the incident had inter-party motives. DUI said the incident has a criminal background.
