Five people have been arrested on the orders of the Public Prosecutor’s Office in connection with the attempted murder of MP and the leader of the Alliance for Albanians, Zijadin Sela, during the violence that occurred in Parliament on April 27th, this year.
The Prosecutor’s Office informs that, an order was issued to extend the investigation into the case against five more people, who were arrested last night after searches were carried out in their homes.
“Regarding the case conducted by the Public Prosecutor’s Office in Skopje for the events in the Parliament building of the Republic of Macedonia of April 27th and the attack on Zijadin Sela, the public prosecutor issued an order to extend the investigation into five more people for attempted murder in co-perpetration, Article 123, in conjunction with Article 19 and in conjunction with Article 22 of the Criminal Code. The five individuals, at the request of the competent public prosecutor, have been detained while conducting their homes are being searched”, reads the statement from the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
