The European Commission has welcomed the agreement reached on appointing the special public prosecutor, said Maja Kocijancic spokeswoman for Commissioner Johannes Hahn during today’s press conference.
“We welcome the agreement made this morning in Skopje by the political parties for the appointing of the new Special Public Prosecutor, which was an important element of the political agreement, which was brokered by Commissioner Hahn and several European MP’s in June and July. Now we expect the relevant law in Parliament to be adopted of the relevant law in Parliament and we expect that the special prosecutor will get all necessary support to complete this important task – said Kocijancic.
Han spokeswoman confirmed the visit of the Commissioner of Macedonia and added that he expected during the visit to discuss and pre-high-level accession dialogue (HLAD).
