There will be no abandoning of the Daylight Saving Time decades-long practice and the European Summer Time in North Macedonia ends this weekend, the government announced.
There was the option of abandoning the Daylight Saving Time (DST) altogether, but after the analyses by the Ministry of Economy of North Macedonia, it was concluded that the country will continue with the DST.
The main argument cited for the option of prolonging the use of the DST throughout the year was saving electricity.
