The Austrian vice-chancellor Reinhold Mitterlehner said that with this move the Union wants to show that it doesn’t only make statements, but money, too, for concrete projects. Macedonia will invest most of the money on energy projects. The Minister of Economy Bekim Neziri said that Macedonia will connect to Serbia and Albania by prioritizing the connection of 400 kilowatt transmission lines that will connect through Kosovo. The EU has requested from the West Balkans to come forth with concrete projects, ranked by priority.
