At least two people were shot today around 3:30 PM, in the Beginje neighborhood in Kumanovo, was confirmed by the Kumanovo police department.
The police said one person was injured and one was killed. No further detail was given.
According to TV station Telma, the unknown perpetrator drove in a green Mercedes and began shooting towards a food establishment. The attackers ran away immediately in the same vehicle.
Albanian media report on eyewitness accounts which had recognized the deceased as Dzemail Redzepi, also known as Komandant Shkiponja. According to the media, two people had been injured in the shooting- Shefki Redzepi and Gani Demiri who were close affiliates of Redzepi.
