The European Commission today gave a brief reaction to yesterday’s election of a new Government in Macedonia provided by the Przhino Agreement.
“The European Commission was very clear with the insistence to implement the political agreement which was adopted with the mediation of Commissioner Johannes Hahn in the summer. All steps in that direction are welcome”, said Maja Kocijancic, spokeswoman for the EU Commissioner for Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, Johannes Hahn.
Macedonian Parliament yesterday adopted the new composition of the Provisional or Interim Government, which will have a mandate until the early parliamentary elections in April 2016. Representatives from the opposition entered the Government, who took two Ministerial positions and three Deputy Ministerial positions.
