For DUI the implementation of the Przhino Agreement is a very important, fully and without further delay. The Special Prosecutors team should be completed and other laws should be submitted in Parliament, said the DUI leader Ali Ahmeti in a meeting with Deputy US Ambassador Bart Putney, today at the US Embassy in Skopje.
Mr Ahmeti said that “both Macedonian political parties should understand that the deal should be closed immediately, and that any delay is harmful to the state and its citizens.”
“DUI as part of all developments concerning the Przhino Agreement, we oversee and examine all possible options to overcome this difficult crisis. At the same time, the Euro-Atlantic future is being held hostage by the unwillingness to compromise, and this will influence the inter-ethnic relations and the general situation in the country”, said DUI in an official statement from the party.
Mr Ahmeti and Mr Putney discussed the outstanding issues of the working groups in the Przhino Agreements negotiations, and about steps that DUI is planning to take depending on the progress in the implementation of the agreement.
