DOM feels that political crisis requires immediate action to address the institutions and that dialogue between the government and opposition is necessary.
“We believe that the outcome should start with the resignation of the Public Prosecutor, the return of the opposition in the Assembly and the election of a new prosecutor with the consensus of all political parties. Then, two parallel transparent processes should be lead: judicial and through parliamentary inquiry committee,” announced DOM.
The party believes that the process should start with the public prosecutor because, according to DOM, he should be a central figure in the judicial resolution, a man of integrity and expertise, who will have the trust of all political parties and the public.
