Yesterday’s statement by the Ambassadors in which they insinuated that Nikola Gruevski and VMRO-DPMNE were the culprits for the failure of the Przhino Agreement is just confirmation of what we said on Saturday, according to the SDSM.
Since the opposition briefing that bilateral meetings are still being held, but there has been no progress, and according to them, it is obvious that the deadline for the Special Prosecutor has passed because Assistant Prosecutors have yet to be selected, nor those selected haven’t taken the Oath of Office.
“VMRO-DPMNE wants executive positions in the Interior Ministry so they can stay in this status quo. They have no problem with the veto, nor will they give it to us. It is obvious that elections were stolen through the MOI and therefore they do not want to agree to any changes”, say sources within SDSM.
They then added that they, and VMRO-DPMNE, want the people to decide where to place their trust and confidence, but they have to be fair and democratic elections.
