All deadlines missed, and no agreements made

Political parties last night tried to reach an agreement on the matter of the choice of Ministers and Law on the “bombs”. The last deadline was missed of the Przhino Agreement, which expired on the 20th of October.

It’s been reported that, SDSM and VMRO-DPMNE stuck to their of their demands. The ruling party wants the new ministers to be merely technical, while SDSM insists they have more power. Also, there is no compromise about what would kind of veto the Deputy Ministers will have.

The parties have different views about the placement of wire tapped materials. While the government wants a new law, the opposition wants to amend the Criminal Code.

Today reactions from the International Community are expected on how further negotiations will continue.
