The State Election Committee will tomorrow publish on their official website, the names of the 39.502 disputable voters, they will have a deadline of 25 days to get back on the electoral roll, decided the Commission at today’s session.
Registering for the electoral roll will be carried out in person, where the ‘disputable voter’ will have to produce a valid ID card or a passport across the regional offices of the SEC and at the Office for Registries. On the SEC’s website, voters can apply electronically.
Registration will last until August 19, every day from the hours of 8:30- 19:00.
After the deadline, the SEC will have ten more days to perform additional checks or contact voters if in need fo further details.
However, if they do not apply electronically or appear in person in the period of time given, they will still have another opportunity for registering during the public review of the electoral roll before early parliamentary elections.
