Dimovski: We have an agreement on the electoral law, and the diaspora will vote

-

An agreement has been reached on the electoral law. We had a heavy, uneasy and uncomfortable moments, we have invested a lot of effort and time, but we have a deal, said Ilija Dimovski before the MPs Clubhouse, after SDSM left the meeting of the working groups. He said that the withdrawal of the opposition nothing more than tactics, and all the time they repeat them.

“Whenever we get closer to an agreement or when take a step closer to early elections SDSM retreats. It is their tactic, which they constantly repeat. We stand by the Przino Agreement, we gave support to the Special Public Prosecutor for the law and the election of Ms Katica Janeva. A decision of the Council of Public Prosecutors is something we could not interfere in, nor to comment on”, said Mr Dimovski.

He said they agreed on the Diaspora to vote in a proportional system, as a single constituency and three MPs, the same number of votes as elected representatives in Macedonia. The election system remains the same in six constituencies and 20 seats, while finances are limited to 110 denars. For deciding about the SEC, we will vote by consensus, and if we fail to achieve a decision, the Administrative Court will be responsible.
