The current government is political, not an interim government, as it has no date for holding elections, stated Prime Minister Emil Dimitriev during today’s visit to the Agency for Agricultural and Rural Development.
Dimitriev said that the interim Government for conducting elections, according to the law, is formed 100 days before elections, while the current government’s policy is aimed at implementing the program for which it was selected.
“I do not know why we use the term interim Government anymore. The law is very clear – the interim Government or government for conducting elections is formed 100 days before elections. In the period before and after the functioning of this political Government, they are focused on the implementation of the program for which it received its mandate”, said Dimitriev.
