Diaspora can get three MPs if all those registered vote

-

The registration of voters from the diaspora ends today, and according to recent information from the State Election Commission, 18,600 citizens have registered. The SEC expects by midnight during registration the number to exceed 19,000 citizens. The Commission said, however, if all those registered vote on December 11, the diaspora can get three MPs.

According to the amendments to the Election Code, to be a MP from the diaspora, they would need to win approximately 6,500 votes and the most they can get is three MPs of the seventh constituency, which includes North and South America, Europe and Australia.

So far, only DUI published a list for the seventh constituency, ie the Diaspora. The VMRO-DPMNE announced that they too will put forward candidates, while the SDSM so far, have made no announcement for candidates in this constituency.
