A truck carrying Macedonian reserve armed forces was attacked from an ambush near Karpalak on the Skopje-Tetovo road fourteen years ago on this day.
A Government delegation headed by Minister of defense Zoran Jolevski will commemorate the event at the memorial monument in Karpalak.
The delegation will lay wreaths at the “Karpalak” complex in the center of Prilep. Minister Jolevski will give a speech on the occasion.
There is going to be a mass in the Sveti Petka church in the village Lenishte in memory of the reserve guard soldiers who perished in the attack and all of whom were from Prilep.
