Danielsson: The referendum will determine the future of your country

-

On September 30th, citizens will make a choice that will determine the future of your country and that choice will have consequences for future generations. I urge you to use your democratic right and vote in the upcoming referendum, said Christian Danielsson, director of the European Commission’s Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Directorate, at the launch of the new campaign by the EU office in Skopje called “Imagine the Future Together”.

He congratulated the Prime Minister and Macedonian institutions for reaching an agreement with Greece to resolve the name issue, which, according to him, paves the way for the country to Europe.

EU Ambassador to the country Samuel Žbogar said that through EU funds over the past 20 years, one billion euros of European money was invested through projects that generated huge results.
