European finance ministers tomorrow will wait for new official Greek proposal in writing until tomorrow. The head of Eurogroup Jeroen Dijsselbloem, after today nearly three-hour meeting of finance ministers, announced that tomorrow there will be a new teleconference of the Eurogroup, on which the Greek proposal will be reviewed. Then, another meeting of the Eurogroup to consider and potentially approve the possibility of a new start of negotiations will be required. As Dijsselbloem pointed out, they will maybe have the official Greek proposal in the next few hours.

Dijsselbloem stressed that Greece will send a new request for assistance from the European rescue mechanism, but added that, in order to receive a green light to this demand, new constructive proposals and achieving long-term program is needed. It was clear that today there will be no concrete measures, and the problems of Greece, which he evaluated as severe and deep, will be part of discussions of European finance ministers for a long time.

He said it was too early for optimism because there were serious problems that will require concrete solutions and to be seen whether the Greek government will show willingness to implement potential solutions. According to Dijsselbloem, time presses all and it is more than clear that the situation is urgent.

Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras will meet with Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Francois Hollande, and then will attend the EU Summit on Greece. According to information, the meeting will be attended by the head of the Commission Jean-Claude Juncker, who earlier, in front of the entrance to the EU Summit, said the decisions and the salvation of Greece are in the hands of Tsipras. Tomorrow morning, Tsipras will address the European Parliament to explain what the Greek people want from the EU.
