The COVID-19 pandemic had a negative impact on the income from the motorway tolls collected by North Macedonia’s Public Enterprise for State Roads. Between July and September this year a total of €9 790 479 was collected, informed the PE for State Roads. During the same quarter last year, the total income from the motorway toll stations was €14.1 million which is a decrease by over €4.3 million.
The PE for State Roads explained that during the summer months, 9.403.080 vehicles have passed through the toll stations, while last year during the same period pay toll was collected from 14.112.726 vehicles from all the categories.
