Instead of house arrest, the Court of Appeals in Skopje today ruled that the Mayor of Bitola, Vladimir Taleski be given a measure of caution, stated the Basic Court Skopje 1.
Taleski must report to an authorized official at the Basic Court in Bitola, twice a week, every working Monday and Friday.
“The Court of Appeals in Skopje this afternoon decided to rule on the appeal on the suspect V.T., who is part of the SPO’s case, known to the public as “Transporter”, and has considered the ruling from the Criminal Council of the Organized Crime and Corruption in the Basic Court Skopje 1, and has decided to terminate the measure of house arrest. However, the suspect has been given a cautionary measure, where he will have to report to an authorized official at the Basic Court in Bitola, every working Monday, and Friday”, reads the statement from the Criminal Court.
