The urgent congress of VMRO-DPMNE, is still scheduled to be held this weekend on December 22nd and 23rd in Valandovo, the party said in a statement..
“The Executive Committee also discussed the publicly announced initiative by many current and former officials. The initiative published in the media did not receive support from the Executive Committee, who decided not to propose it at today’s session of the Central Committee of the party”,the statement added.
The party reports that the Executive Committee reviewed and adopted the analysis for the local elections which were just recently held.
“The analysis includes a brief, sublimated version of the reasons for the election results, as well as detailed processing of information and perceptions by the municipal committees. Accordingly, the same conclusion by the Executive Committee will be presented today at a meeting by the Central Committee”, the statement added.
VMRO-DPMNE say that “the Executive Committee decided that the party must continue to take steps that would attract the attention of the domestic and international public about the undemocratic and repressive behavior of the junta in power and the abuse of institutions and the entire state apparatus, including the judicial authorities. “
