“Colourful Revolution”: The whole Government is wrong, and they will face the responsibility

-

The leader of the SDSM party, Zoran Zaev and Vice President ,Radmila Shekerinska protested alongside the “Colourful Revolution” this evening, and even threw paint and the Ministry of Justice. The police cordon who guarded the Ministry allowed some protesters through, who were armed with paint pistols and sprayed the walls of the building with more colour.

“We are here to show our solidarity with all our friends who were called for questioning by the police and fined 50 euros. We are all here. We all threw paint, let them fine us all! They can not punish everyone and shut us down. This criminal government must fall”, declared Zaev outside the Ministry of Culture, where his statement was met with cheers, and chants “Mafia in prison” and “You can’t escape prison Nikola”.

Earlier on, a large number of citizens gathered outside the SPO, all signed a statement that they too, had thrown paint with the “Colourful Revolution”.

The signatures collected are in support for those who have been called for questioning by the MOI.

The most popular banner at tonight’s protest was “I turn myself in, I’m a hooligan too”.

On the way to Parliament, demonstrators stopped outside the secondary school, “Josip Broz Tito” where they paid tribute to the monument for the Day of the Youth, which is today, May the 25th.

The “Colourful Revolution” marks and will continue to mark everything which is wrong in this society, every mistake”, said activist Irena Sterieva.

“That is why I want to send a message, with intimidation you won’t achieve anything. Parliament is wrong, the Ministry of Justice is wrong, the Constitutional Court is wrong and the Ministry of Culture is wrong, it is a mistake and a big one. That’s why we mark those places with colour. The whole Government is wrong and therefore they will face the responsibility” concluded Sterieva.

Professor Mirjana Najchevska, who was questioned at Beko police station this morning openly stated that she is not afraid, and it is not about identity anymore, or idealism and heroes, it’s about the here and now.
“The point here is, you force us to be silent over something which is already ours. You make us beg you to throw a bone. The point of the matter is, we have not yet made it to the 21st century. We are stuck in this toilet, which you tell us is a palace. You have enslaved our futures and those of our children’s. Enough!” Said Professor Najchevska.протестпротест
