Several dozen people organized by the Center for Freedom “Civil” today before the Parliament demanded that the election be postponed and scheduled in September.
According to the NGO, in Macedonia there is still no conditions for fair and credible elections.
“We are gathered here today to say that we demand free elections and not elections with phantoms, abuse to the administration, misuse of our money and blackmail. We want the elections to be conducted by institutions with no party affiliation. We ask the government to resign because they have already caused enough destruction. Elections should be organized by a government that is not infected with crime. We demand that the elections be postponed until the end of September, and longer if necessary. In the meantime, work needs to be done on reforms and everything that is necessary for free and fair elections”, said Dzabir Derala from “Civil”.
