Bulgaria, who since yesterday took over the presidency of the Council of the European Union for the next six months, has made a short video presentation that they have presented to the world.

In about 40 seconds of the published video, some of the most important natural features of Bulgaria, as well as churches and ancient sites, with new highways and other roads, are presented as a blend of the country’s heritage in the 21st century. At the same time, the specific folk cultural heritage, like the dances and masks of Kukeri, is represented.

A longer video is to be presented on the website of the Bulgarian EU Presidency this week, which says it has taken on a “responsible task with the ambition to work for a more secure, stronger, safer and more digital Europe, in which the voice of every citizen will have meaning.”
