Today, the British Embassy welcomed the agreement which was finally reached by the political parties and stressed that they need to implement the agreement with just as much effort.
“My broad view is that any agreement is only as good as its implementation. That’s what has failed in the past. If this agreement is to succeed, the parties will have to put at least as much effort into implementation as they did in protecting their interests during the negotiations”, Paul Edwards, Charge D’Affaires told “Meta”.
Yesterday’s agreement was previously welcomed by US Ambassador Jess Baily and European Commissioner Johannes Hahn, who also stressed how important the agreement is, and its full implementation.
