Breza: I told the court what was written on a piece of paper

-

Zlatko Arsovski, known by the pseudonym Breza and under which he was included as a protected witness in the case “Oreshe,” on today’s hearing on the same case said that his previous statement was given to him on a paper written by Veljo Arsovski, a relative of the victim in the case, reports Utrinski vesnik in its online edition.

– On the paper was written that Gjore called me from America and told me that the brothers Ordan and Ljupcho are the perpetrators. So I repeated this constantly during the investigation and in court. But this is not true, this is a set-up – said Zlatko Arsovski on today’s hearing at the Basic Court in Veles, where he again testified for the murder in Oreshe.

Responding to a question from the prosecution, he confirmed taking money from Gjore Petrovski from USA, i.e. three or four times he received around 3,000 dollars, and that he called him to ask what was happening in the village.

Arsovski said that the evening when the murder happened, he was in the village and heard gunshots, but it wasn’t strange, because, as he said, shots are fired in every night in the village without any particular cause.

While he was a protected witness in the case “Oreshe,” Zlatko Arsovski claimed that Gjore Petrovski is the contractor of the murder and the brothers Ordan and Ljupco Georgievski are the perpetrators. Once the status of protected witness was stripped in February last year, he changed his statements, claiming that everything previously said was false and coached.

Last week, Arsovski was sentenced to six months in prison for perjury.
