Boshnjakovski: The academics will choose a longer name for MANU

-

The abbreviation MANU of Macedonian Academy of Sciences and Arts will remain unchanged even after the academy will be renamed and its new name will be decided by the academics themselves, said today the government’s spokesperson Mile Boshnjakovski during the regular press conference at the government.

He said that the new name for the army of Republic of Macedonia (ARM) will be revealed soon but it will certainly be in the spirit of the Prespa Agreement.

At the press conference, Boshnjakovski elaborated the entries of the agenda from yesterday’s government session where among other new names were given to AD ELEM, the state news agency MIA and the Macedonian Post-Office Services.

When asked about the Mercedes which is worth 600.000 eur i.e. whether it will be sold and the acquired financed will be used for purchasing Ambulance vehicles which was a pre-election promise made by SDSM, Boshnjakovski replied that the acquisition of the ambulance vehicles is underway.

-The purchase of ambulances is already underway. On the other hand, the Mercedes is a symbol of dissipation and this government has renounced it and the prime minister will never use it. It is a part of a legal procedure and while this procedure is still active it will remain where it is now. As soon as it is over we shall see what will happen 0 said the government spokesperson.
