Greek farmers will close the border crossing Bogorodica, vehicles won’t be able to cross from 12:00 to 14:00 and 19:00 to 23:00. Thousands of farmers from 68 blocks throughout Greece today will meet in Athens for a protest scheduled for 18:00 tonight.
At the port of Piraeus this morning more than 2,000 farmers arrived from Crete that are currently protesting outside the Ministry of Agriculture. At the protest outside the ministry a small incident occurred between farmers and police. Cretan farmers threw vegetables and chased police away.
Employees from the Ministry, joined the protest and will strike until the end of working hours.
