The Governor Dimitar Bogov assured the Turkish investors in the stability of the economy, the exchange rate of the denar, the setting in which they work and asked them to invest as before.
– The National Bank will maintain the macroeconomic stability, stable exchange rate and the banking system. Vulnerability of the MKD, which is stable and since 1997 is unchanged, should not be expected. For now there has been no need to change the monetary policy – said Bogov.
According to the Turkish investors, the political, the economic stability and security have a major impact on investment decisions. Therefore, today they met with the governor Bogov, who answered their questions related to the projections for economic growth, security of deposits in the Greek banks, macroeconomic stability.
– When the political stability is threatened, consequently it influences the two other factors. That was why we discussed with the governor Bogota and this was the first meeting between the private and public sectors. Extensions of the successes of the Macedonian economy depend on overcoming the political crisis – said the President of the Economic Chamber of Macedonia-Turkey, Tuna Ejup Kavedzhi.
