The police in Bitola have checked several times so far to see if Mayor Vladimir Taleski is at home since yesterday at 12 am when the measure of house arrest was formally implemented after the Criminal Court came to their decision.
The spokesperson for the police department in Bitola, Sanja Stamatova, said police found Taleski at home, in his apartment on the Bonde Skerlevski Street in Bitola and duly referred the decision.
“Since then, the police visit Taleski’s apartment suddenly to see if he’s home and whether he respects the court’s decision. So far, there has been no problems”, says Stamatova.
In Bitola, the opposition still demands the resignation of Taleski. Today, the Liberal Democrats disputed that the Mayor of Bitola is the only politician in the “bombs” who is associated with crime and has not submitted his resignation and everyone else did.
