Bejta –Thimonier: A quick government formation is necessary

The Ambassador of France in Macedonia, Christian Thimonier and the Mayor of the municipality of Gostivar, Nevzat Bejta, after today’s meeting that was held at the premises of the municipality of Gostivar, said that it is necessary that a new government is formed quickly.

After the meeting, during which the current political situation in the country was discussed, ambassador Thimonier said that the country is not in crisis, but no time should be wasted now.

-There is no need of dramatization of events as the country is not in a state of crisis. Still, the embassy stands firm that no time should be wasted now and a government must be formed quickly. The government should continue with the efforts for strengthening the peace, democracy, and freedom. Guided by past experiences, we as a society must not support the creation of clans but to contribute that the citizens should come first – said Thimonier.

The Mayor of Gostivar, Nevzat Bejta said that freedom, justice, and equality in Macedonia depend on the creation of the new government.

-It is necessary that a government is formed quickly. This is what the majority of citizens of Macedonia wanted. It is necessary that the justice, freedom, and equality for our citizens to arrive and for the strengthening of democracy – said Bejta.
