US Ambassador to Macedonia Jess Bailey today on his Twitter account, wrote that the decision of President Gjorge Ivanov to stop all court processes cases against politicians in Macedonia, was a process that protects corrupt politicians.
He wrote: “A blanket pardon without due process protects corrupt politicians and their associates. Lets allow the SPO and the courts to do their job. ”

Yesterday the US Embassy in the country expressed concern over President Ivanov’s decision.
“We are awaiting further details and clarifications. However, the President’s statement raises serious concerns about Macedonia’s commitment to the rule of law, “reads the statement of the US Embassy.
