A new donation campaign for Ukraine was launched through the video-game “World of Warcraft” with Mila Kunis as the face of recognition. Kunis is a Hollywood actress of Jewish descent born in Ukraine. She become popular playing the role in the series “That 70s Show” with Ashton Kutcher. She also played in the film “Black Swan” and received world recognition for the role played together with Natalie Portman, as well as in the film “The Book of Eli” with Denzel Washington and the film based on the video-game “Max Payne”. Her whole life, Mila Kunis has been a passionate player of the “World of Warcraft”.

The action is called “Pet Pack for Ukraine”. Mila Kunis, whose real name is Milena Markovna (Mila) Kunis, not only knows but she also well plays the video-game “World of Warcraft”. She explains in an interview how she presented herself as an architect because she appeared in the game in different time zones but wished to remain anonymous thereby covering the “white lie” with the story that she travelled frequently.
Once they even recognized her voice, but then she was playing an alternate character (Alt), not the main character. She escaped the situation of revealing herself by not playing that character ever again.
Otherwise, this campaign of the actress through “World of Warcraft” was implemented by the company “Blizzard” and is based on 20-Euro donations. If you donate, you receive two mini pets in the game with the colours of the Ukrainian flag i.e., a small puppy called “Sunny” – golden retriever with really good animations, which you receive after several quests from any “Innkeeper” in the capital city in your fraction Ogrimmar or Stormwind. The second pet is a murloc called “Flurky” from the species of small, cute creatures living beside and in the water in the game.
Both pets have special effects that can be used in “Dragonflight” expansion and in “Lich King Classic WoW”.
The organization behind this initiative is called “BlueCheck Ukraine” and its co-founder is the actor Liev Schreiber. Most of the funds collected by this action will be used for humanitarian aid, medical assistance and support provided to orphan-children, as well as for securing basic supplies for people hit by the war in Ukraine.

We will browse through a few platform video games that could keep your attention, some of whom were chosen as the best in the genre, most of them are relatively newer games, but that truly doesn’t matter when it comes to platform video games, because even the oldest “platformers” are played to date, such as the Super Mario games that are out of competition with how good they are and that is why they won’t be a topic of this article. Ori and the Blind Forest
This is one of the best aesthetically worked on games, with a distinguished art style that very much reminds of the anime cartoons from Studio Ghibli from which best known are the titles Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away. The pleasant music in the game and the atmosphere along with the characters will give you and emotional feel of empathy with the characters and the adventure of the game will fully take you over with one of the main topics that is in sub context which is ecology that’s why the fantasy setting happens in a forest with forest spirits and well-meaning creatures from myths. Mark of the Ninja Remastered

The game is not simple, you should learn mechanics and to give great attention to the tutorials because the game requires patience, timing and reflexes. If you are looking for a stealth game that would pose a challenge this game is the right choice.
Trine
In the game Trine you play 3 characters at once and you change through them with the 1,2,3 buttons, the featured characters are a girl-thief, a Knight and a Wizard. At the very beginning of the game the three of them touch an object of power and are stuck when they touch it, according to the story it is an object of power that joins souls that was used before by a great hero but this time it joins the souls of the three characters. You can control one character at a time but you can switch through all three at any time. You change the characters for different situations and solving puzzles- that most often reward you with experience potions. For example the girl-thief has a bow and arrows and can fight at range or to use her arrow with a rope to hang on to hanging objects or high ledges, the knight is mostly used for battle and he can also block arrows and hits with his shield, the wizard can move objects with his mind and trough telekinesis he can push and move big objects as well. In the game there is a narrator voice over that is telling the story, it’s interesting that for the Wizard the narrator says that he doesn’t know a lot about magic, and that he couldn’t do the simplest of spells like casting a fireball, but he liked to chase women. This is a reference for the wizard Rincewind from the series of the novels Discworld from Terry Pratchett, because there the character of Rincewind is a wizard that doesn’t know magic. The wizard in the game can also put up boxes and ramps from thin air and he is the best of solving puzzles with interesting physics, but you also have to use the other characters in between. The game also has a multiplayer co-op where three players can play at once and in that it reminds of one of the oldest Blizzard games named The Lost Vikings. Trine graphics are the top of the line and the puzzles and the backgrounds are great and the game itself has several sequels.
From today, September 21st to September 25th, you can try out the three new announced elite specializations for Revenant, Warrior and Elementalist, that is, Vindicator, Bladesworn and Catalyst. All you need is a Guild Wars 2 account, if you don’t have one you can make a free account and start the game immediately. On the 21st of September 3 new beta slots will appear, through which you can try out the new elite specializations with full gear, the progress during the beta event will not be saved and everything from the beta will be deleted on 25th of September. But at least you’ll get the opportunity to try out these three new elite specializations:
Vindicator
Finally the Revenant gets a Greatsword. Up until now it was the only soldier profession that couldn’t use that weapon while the Guardian and the Warrior had it from the start. The Greatsword became one of the all time favorite weapons since Guild Wars 2 came out, because in Guild Wars there were no Greatswords whatsoever.
The Vindicator besides having the Greatsword channels the legends of the history of Tyria, this time around two legends at once and those are the heroes Saint Victor from the Kurzick faction and Arcimores the leader of the Luxon faction. In GuildWars 1 the Kurzick looked like gothic metalheads, while the Luxon faction were barbarians that worshiped turtles.
The Kurzick skills for the Vindicator are mostly for healing and cleansing tactics and they don’t do as much damage as the Luxon skill do because those are mainly direct attacks. While the elite skill of the Luxons is The Ghost of Arcimores throwing a spear towards the picked target and does a lot of damage, the Kurzick elite skill is the Urn of Saint Victor that has interesting mechanics from which the main one is to take away your health while simultaneously healing the allies that are nearby. While you channel the skill. All the skills of the Vindicator look aesthetically stunning but they are also effective -the fact alone that the Vindicator has several gap closers skills will make him very efficient in World vs World PvP where he would be able to catch running enemies and at the same time using the Kurzick skills on large groups with additional healing and support.
Bladesworn
The Bladesworn warrior practically gets two new weapons, an offhand pistol and the Gunsaber that is a combination of a longsword and a pistol that fires with bullets of amber(a special material that the Kurzick faction uses in Guild Wars 1) while it performs hits. This class is based on the Power stat which makes it a more direct damage dealer. Instead of building up adrenaline the Bladesworn accumulates Flow and realodes the ammunition, the hits works more on a charge up for hits and literally firing at the enemies while unleashing different types of Dragon Slash attacks. The Gunsaber functions as a kit for an engineer does, and the weapon swap option gets locked with use, so you would have to chose and alternative weapon before you get into combat.
The Elite skill refiles the ammunition, but most of the attack skills have a longer cooldown until you can use them again- all the measures to stop a exploit of this type of skill are being taken and you cannot spam rotations all the time but you can do significant bursts that do alot of damage at once. The Bladesworn is like an upgrade of the already existing specialization -the berserker that also makes huge damage from time to time. But still the newest specialization looks interesting especially because of the Gunsaber that in most similar games is popularly known as the Gunblade, but the developers of Guild Wars 2 had taken this to another more complicated level because they really made a good job so that both visually and technically the Bladesworn profession is great. Its especially rare in any MMO to have a class that can “one-shot anything”. But measures are being taken for it not to be a too overpowering specialization, especially against other players where the damage numbers are deliberately nerfed for PvP.
Catalyst
The main joke about the elementalist is that its a “piano”, there are so many spells combinations that require pressing a lot of buttons. With the Catalyst the new elite specialization that only becomes deeper but it’s for sure that this is gonna be one of the more interesting specs to play because it uses a lot of compatible combinations. The weapon that the Catalyst uses is a two handed hammer and not only that he uses it in melee combat but also it can hit at range. Trough the power of the Jade Spheres the Catalyst channels the elements into wheels that he opens up as circular areas, and while he stands in them not only that he gets buffs from the element they are attuned at in the moment, but does new combinations of attacks with its abilities. Likewise he can also make energy balls that rotate around him (in all the elements) and to hit his enemies that way or he can direct and fire all the energy balls at one target, that is mostly a boss in PvE or another player in PvP. With every element between fire, water, air and earth he has different attacks with the hammer. And while standing in the well changes an element from damage (for example Fire) into healing (Water) and the skills on the hammer will change into those that make you regain health instead of dealing damage to the opponents. The main elite skill is similar to the Bladesworn’s elite skill only that with the Catalyst it resets the cooldown of the skills, so you can do several rotations of useful skills. There is also a block skill, that functions if the Catalyst gets hit with a skill -the hit is blocked and you get an aura according to the momentarily attuned element. There are so many combinations that are worthwhile trying out.

Spiderman 2 is a highly expected new game for PlayStation 5 but it will come out in 2023. After the big success of the first part of the game, that was a hit game that was outstanding, Spiderman 2 is making a comeback in the same setting with better graphics -although the graphics were the top of the line in the first game, beside the original character of Peter Parker as Spiderman the character of Miles Morales the African American Spiderman from the comics shows up, and they join together to fight against Venom. The popularity of this hero or heroes, because Spiderman has many versions in the “Marvel Multiverse”, is on the rise not just with the games but with the movies too -where Tom Holland plays Spiderman, and the prequel of this game became even a reason to buy the PlayStation to play that exact game.
God of War Ragnarok also falls in the same category of “A game you buy the newest PlayStation for”. It is a brutally violent game-as are all the God Of War titles but in a newest version. While in the first games of God Of War the focus of the story was set in Ancient Greek Mythology, in the newest releases of the game Norse Mythology takes the theme. The combat in the game is “beastly” and the surrounding is graphically polished to the max-whether it’s about forests or islands the atmosphere is thrilling. The trailer itself reveals a big part of the story. A final release date still hasn’t been published.
Wolverine is a game that surprised everyone with the newest Trailer, its been worked upon by the same developer Insomniac that is making Spiderman 2. If we judge by the previous Wolverine games from X-man2: Wolverine’s Revenge 2003 to X-man: The Official Game and to the newer Wolverine games they only get better and better. According to the trailer considering the looks this is the Wolverine from the comics, short, angry, muscular with a cigar and alcohol beside him opposite to the look of a “macho man” that was promoted by Hugh Jackman in the movies. In the comics Wolverine also has a cowboy hat that he doesn’t wear in the movies at all. Although there is still no gameplay footage for this game, the expectations for it to be a masterfully made game are great.
The announcement for a Remake of Star Wars Knights Of The Old Republic (SWKOTOR) is great news for a years long project that already has leaked footage on YouTube of how the game looks in development although there is only an animation for the trailer. This is one of the games with an especially good story and because it’s a Remake according to the leeks on YouTube the game might be changed a lot and instead of a third person view it may have a first person view. The zones on the different planets are overworked very well, still keeping the charm of the original locations from the game in its first state. This is a game that has high re-playability and it would be even more fun to do that in a new version of SWKOTOR. And for the newest generations that haven’t played it before it will become a hit again.

Nioh the Complete Edition, a game that normallt sells for €50, is given for free by Epic Games until the 16th of September (Thursday). And also this is one of the hardest games in the Souls like genre.
Although the story itself is fiction, the main character is based on the first western samurai William Adams that really existed. Another inspiration about the looks of the protagonist is undoubtedly the character of the Witcher Geralt of Rivia, because it reminds of him in many characteristics, the hair, the scars, only the face is changed. The story itself starts in a dungeon same as Dark Souls 1 starts. Even the first enemies are an indicator of how hard the game is and it requires a lot of skill, you need to dodge attacks and do counter attacks when a window of opportunity presents itself for that and little by little lower the Health of the enemies until you beat them.
Although the swords are a favorite in the game and there are one handed swords, from normal to special ones with different names, to dual wielding swords and surprisingly big swords that seem a little ridiculous, the only weapon that is easier to play and enables you to keep enemies at a bigger distance are the spears, although they aren’t so fun and with so much attractive attacks as swords still they are safer and more efficient. But basically you need to play your own way, a way that gives you the best satisfaction and fun and not only use the most efficient way to advance. When you die in the game you are returned to the previous checkpoint where you have saved the game and all the enemies are alive again. -The same principle as in all Souls Like games. In contrast to Dark Souls where you have a shield to block with, in Nioh there are no shields to use, but you can block with every weapon, or step out of the way of a charging enemy and position yourself behind them to inflict more damage. Basically the combat is evasion and striking bit by bit, little by little. There are players that abuse the mechanics to beat the bosses more easily but that’s already cheating and it isn’t good to do because you will ruin the entire game for you and miss on the satisfaction of a good fight that you would pass with skill.
Considering the story, people that had already played the game advise others to read the tutorials and watch all the cutscenes from the story without whom they would be lost in the game. The things taken from Japanese mythology are the spirits that everyone has as guides, in the case of the protagonist William it is uncertain if his spirit is also his lover or just a ghost that is bound to him. While those who do good and just deeds have good spirits and those who cause injustice and cruel acts are possessed by Oni or demonic spirits. William’s main mission is to bring back his spirit that an evil sorcerer has trapped in an object of power-one of the Amrita stones and takes it to Japan. The same stones served the Queen of England to defeat the Spanish and are so much more than weapons. William travels to Japan and joins a clan where he becomes a samurai and wages war against demonic creatures that are graphicly excellently done as the carrying horror elements in the game. And of course the pleasure of beating such monsters brings great satisfaction to the players.

Black Desert Online Remastered is one of the graphically most stunning games on the market, which you can try out with the 7 day free trial or buy it directly from Steam for only €10. The combat in Black Desert is so well made that none of the MMO’s doesn’t come close in that direction. Whichever class you pick, from ninja, warrior, berserker, assassin, wizard, witch and many others, you will be able to nuke whole groups of enemies with combos and special skills.
You can see the quality of the game at the very beginning, because it has the best character creation in any MMO with the utmost details that you can change, from hairdos to eye color, to body build and many other options; there are even different types of eyebrows that you can fix the angles on. Every character looks differently according to their classes, there are even previous templates made by the community of the game that you can use while creating a character. For now the Sage class is a favorite, besides the newest class Corsair that is a girl pirate that turns into a mermaid and controls water magic. Still the Sage does more damage.
You can play the game totally without violence through the so called Life Skilling that can be fishing, sailing with little and bigger boats and trading, gathering plants that you use for alchemy after for different purposes, training horses for riding, mining, cutting down trees and hunting-only the last two activities remind of something violent. Likewise through these activities you can level up that strengthens your character entirely.
One of the more interesting activities that everyone learns first is training your horse for riding. Likewise you can ride donkeys, camels and elephants. You can tame horses in the wild-which is a process that needs a real know-how, usually the players buy more expensive horses from the start with a higher tier 7 or 8 and they dedicate a lot of time to train them. While you train your horse u use the skills that aren’t leveled and there are quick time events on which you press marked buttons and if you fail the horse will tumble down in the mist of running, but it straightens up right away. For the horse not to spend its stamina you need to replenish it with food, carrots are the favorite food of the horses in the game. While the tier 8 horses can be bought from the horse market in the game for 7-10 million silver, The Dream horses, the best horses in the game, cost 9 billion(without exaggeration) do 12 billion silver. The Dream horses are a Pegasus (who can glide from up high with wings) the unicorn (that has the best run speed) and hellish Doom horses surrounded in flames that have combat skills and can carry two players with the skill Two Seater. The same skill can be had on tier 8 horse, which is an especially useful skill when you’re boosting another’s player level.
Because the entire game is based on a lot of grind especially if you don’t play Life Skilling but you are more interested in the combat, if you’re boosting another player that has recently started a new character you need to take him or her to a farm spot that is far away from the main cities like for example the Naga Temple, where you will grind for him or her because the experience is shared in a group, he or her will follow you and level up from your kills. If you don’t have a Two Seater you’ll have to wait for the beginner to ride to the location on a slower horse, because you would arrive there first. Usually the characters are being boosted to level 56 and afterwards they level solo because at that level the leveling is very slow.At level 56 there is the Oasis event where you can take complete gear armor and weapons and to level solo after. The Oasis event is lasting for a long time but it can be removed from the game at any time. The level cap is lvl 60 although there are rare people that level to 61 and beyond because there isn’t a level limitation. the higher level you are it becomes much harder to get to the next level.
There is also AFK leveling where your character uses books to level at a kung fu dummy for hitting, you can minimize the game not to spend a lot of resources from the computer, but still although that helps its much slower than actual grind. There are quests as well in the game that give experience and energy levels in the game but some quests ask for pre-requisite a threshold of energy to be able to start them, still there are alot of bugged quests because of which you cant continue so most people ask for boosts and then they grind. All the quests for Awakening and Succession are fun on all the classes and have unique stories. With Awakening you get a new type of weapon and skills and for several classes it is better not to do the Succession but to stay in Awakening and play.
Because there is no direct trading in the game and the main valuate is silver you can earn it in different ways, most common way is to grind bosses across the map and selling the loot at the Central Market in the game. If you don’t have a good enough computer you can play the game with Cloud Gaming trough GeForce Now. Explore, try out the game because it’s really worth trying it out.

According to the story your character is going to be a son or a daughter of Lilith -The Queen of Demons and it’s going to be a legendary demon hunter that will train and fight alongside with the superheroes like Wolverine, Blade, Ghost Rider, Doctor Strange, Iron Man and many other heroes from the Marvel Universe. Between the fights and missions there is going to be a withdrawal to the main base where The Hunter (The main character) will hang out with and befriend heroes, the more you hang out with any of the superheroes the stronger that hero or heroinе will be in combat. After the big success of the Facebook game Marvel Avengers Alliance, a game that was canceled after several years that was tactical and turn-based. Also it’s been a long wait for this type of Marvel game to come out again, let us hope that this game will be far better than the previous Marvel games.
In the game Sifu you play as a martial arts master that is on a mission to revenge his family and to get to the 5 main people that are responsible for that and are leaders of different ninja clans. There is an interesting mechanic in the game -if you die in combat your character ages more and more with each next death. The combat is very well made and it reminds of the games Enter the Matrix and Path of Neo, there are all kinds of techniques for attack, defense, counter striking and grapples and according to the trailer the game is filled with action and attractive looking hits and kicks and martial arts techniques. It is expected for this game to require a lot of skill and good reflexes that makes the game even more fun.
Vampire the Masquerade Blood Hunt is one of the long expected games and its part of the one of best known series of games about vampires. The first game Vampire the Masquerade Redemption was great, a very well made game for its time with a rich narrative and a long story, especially because the action was set in the middle ages and in modern times and it had several different alternative endings. In the first game the main character Christof was in the Brujah clan, while in the second game you could choose a clan at the beginning between Brujah, Gangrel, Nosferatu, Ventrue, Malkavian, Tremere and Toreador. This will probably be the same in the newest game of the series. The Toreador Clan presented in the trailer of Blood Hunt is a clan of both artists and warriors vampires that spend special attention on their looks and style. According to the trailer it is expected for this game to pass the standards for a great game in relation to its prequels.
Dying light 2 Stay Human is an upgraded version of the first game that was a massive success, especially about the fact that it was worked on the best parkour jumping and climbing in a theme of “Zombie Apocalypse”. While in the first game the katana was an overpowering weapon that could be used in any situation even on larger boss enemies in the second part of the game even the combat is a combination of jumping and hitting, likewise there is a block, parry and counter strikes with a weapon, jumping over an enemy and hitting another with kicks and the parkour itself is more acrobatic and seems “more real” than in the first part of the game. The fact that this a game from the Polish studio Techland is especially important for a developer that has gotten world fame for this game and still holds it.
Deathloop is a strange and interesting game, it is a FPS also with Stealth depending on the approach you wanna take and the action is in a time loop that repeats itself like an instance where you have to find a way to break the cycle. The cycle lasts for “24 hours” in the game but the time in the game has a dawn, afternoon, night which passes very fast and then you play through the same stage again if you don’t make it. You can keep some of the items and weapons and you do more attempts until you make it and break the cycle. It is a fun game with time travel that can keep your attention.
Other honorable mentions from Gamescom 2021 are Elden Ring for which a 17 minutes stream of gameplay came out and it wasn’t allowed to be shown so they re-tell it while there is no footage of that but they used previous older already seen sequences of the game, Horizon Forbidden West for which they showed a few seconds of gameplay and the rest is a word from the developers and the game Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredders Revenge that reminds of an old penny arcade game.
Saints Row The Third Remastered is a parody of GTA where megalomaniac exaggerated battles occur with fighting and mostly with shooting. The game is full of humor and satire and a huge portion of violence. Imagine the destruction you do in GTA and multiply that with 3000 because this game is up to the roof with the absurd and it’s abundant with non stop action.
The graphics of the game are good but it couldn’t be compared to the newest game as far as graphics is concerned. The game also has similar features to Need For Speed where you can edit your vehicles and to change their color and addons. They say that this is the last Saints game where the action is in “this reality” because in the sequels of Saints Row there are elements from Matrix and Mass Effect such as aliens, simulated realities, superhero powers ect.
Although Saints Row The Third Remastered doesn’t have those elements, it’s still funny and a very entertaining game to play. You can customize the character to look the way you want and if you go to the outfits option you can choose for the main character to look like a ninja, a knight in full armor and many other costumes with pop culture references that are funnier than funny.
The weapons you can use can be pistols, machine guns, shotguns, automatic rifles and usually the enemies can take a lot of hits in the body before you kill them and if you shoot them in the head they die instantly. Because the story is about the Saints gang that reaches commercial success and sells sodas with their logo and are always in the media so that other criminal organizations want to take their attention and their money as their own. But the Saints don’t respond to threats lightly and they fight against all of them. There is an interesting scene at the beginning of the game while you are robbing a bank a fangirl stops you for an autograph which you sing and another member of the Saints starts courting her while you shoot at special forces with which you are in constant battle. After that you blow up the roof of the safe and a big helicopter of yours comes in and lifts the safe and you are riding on it and shooting against helicopters and special forces holding to the cables or the edge of the safe.
The next bigger battle is when you decide to get guns for the gang and you pick a military base to rob for that, you steal weapons there and launch rockets through computers, rockets that land on tank’s, vehicles and soldiers that attack you around the base and immediately after you’re flying with a helicopter and bring down other helicopters with shooting-the action doesn’t seem to stop. It is interesting that in some cases you have unlimited ammo for the endless waves of enemies.
Another important part of the game is the radio in the game that you can turn on or off, because it’s similar to the radio in GTA while you’re driving a car. The problem is the radio can do one song on endless repeat the whole time and because of that it’s better to turn it off completely.
The driving in the game is very well done and most players rather ride motorbikes because they are easier to control than the cars. A good option to have is to unlock the ability for a vehicle to be delivered at your location, you can even ask for a tank if you need one. Ever since the first Need For Speed games showed up, they were a phenomenon. You could instantly tell that they stand out from other car racing games. The biggest popularity was in the time of Need For Speed Underground 2 in the late 90ies and soon after that almost at the same time The Fast and the Furious movie came out in the 2000’s that also like the Need For Speed games have many sequels and versions. At the moment the most popular is Need for Speed Heat, the newest game that asks for so much resources that is lagging on maximum graphics even with a i9 processor. This year the Need For Speed Series is celebrating 27 years from its existence.
The first Need for Speed games had options where you could drive the car from the inside where you could see the stearin weal and you would look through the windshield-in the first person view(you could also switch the view to a one where you could just see the road without a steering wheel) and you could look at the whole car from the back and up in the third person, the cars in those games were so fast that if a collision happened they will fly 4 meters in the air making pirouettes and that was one of the more fun effects. The success of Need For Speed Underground 2 was because it was the first driving game in an open world, there was a huge city to explore, to build a racing career and best of all to edit the cars that you would buy or earn and to try them out after you edited them just the way you want. The nitro in the game was an important part of the driving because it gave instant acceleration that you couldn’t use it the whole time-there was a wait for it to recharge again. But one of the best things you could do is to ride on stages for drifting and the more you would attain the state not to hit another car or an obstacle you would get more points. And many young people would compete in drifting on the same computer with their friends taking turns one by one. Either that or they would race on the same tracks with an indicator of who will finish the race in less time with the same automobile.

For those who love Diablo 2 and have played it over and over a number of times, Diablo 2 Resurrected is “the cream of the cake”. It is the same game but with very enhanced graphics that looks like a new original but still has the charm of a Diablo game.
The story animations are worked over to the level of standard animations for 2021 that can be noticed by the changes in the first animation. One of the more surprising things when you create a character is that most of the characters look uglier from what they were before, you could play the Barbarian, Paladin, Druid, Sorceress and the Amazon-because the Assassin and the Necromancer couldn’t be chosen in the beta.
About the bugs and unwanted things, holding down the click is not the way it was, while you hold down the click on an enemy your character will keep hitting but unlike the way it was in patch 10 of Lord of Destruction if you continue to hold the click and move it to another enemy then the character kept on hitting, but from unknown reasons that doesn’t happen in the beta of Diablo 2 Resurrected but you have to click again and then hold if you want to switch to another enemy. Let us hope they will fix that. This version of Diablo 2 includes the expansion Lord of Destruction and you can choose whether to play an ordinary character or you will convert it to an expansion character, likewise you can create a character for internet multiplayer play or an offline one for single player. A group can have up to 8 players and you can all play together at the same time. In the beta there was a bug that if you don’t create the game and you join another group often after 2-3 minutes the connection to battlenet disconnects and you have to restart the game from the start.
The groups are being listed in the lobby with the aims of the group for example it can say “Act I new start” or “need a boost to Act II” -the naming of the groups although a key feature did not work on consoles although Diablo 2 Resurrected with be cross platform -it will be played on computers and consoles at the same time.
Another thing that isn’t done so well are the markings for the doors in the labyrinths stages of Act II, you can barely see them on the minimap for the level when you hit Tab, while the ones in Act I are clearly visible, lucky that the Town Portal is marked with a big yellow “X” and can be seen on the map.

The armors and the weapons are worked over and look alot better, even the surfaces are more polished that is very noticable on the paladin armor. The reflections from the water on the ground is done great; you can even notice the character mirroring in the water if you walk past it. The monsters and all enemies are also worked over to look better although they are the same monsters and enemies.
There is a nostalgia for the past in this game so it causes a great interest, foremost about its re-playability and replay value. Many people remember that even if they have played through the entire game you could change the difficulty from Normal to Nightmare and after to Hell. A game that doesn’t grow old-renewed and this remaster(it’s not a remake) is predicted to be very successful.
The beta testing of the newest expansion of Guild Wars 2 called End of Dragons is under way. Each player has three new beta slots for characters (that will be totally deleted when the testing is over and also the progress will not be saved) to try out the three newest specializations for Mesmer, Necro and Guardian. The event lasts until the 21st of August. According to the newest information from the testing the best-most efficient in PvP from the three is the one that looks the worst with animations and that is the Mesmer. The elite specialization is called the Virtuoso:
By attractiveness and looks, the Guardian has the best new abilities -aesthetically, with the newest elite specialization Willbender where the Guardian uses two swords (the new thing is the second sword in the offhand) and has really attractive acrobatic animations and great mobility, and many players are joking around that it has taken the role of the Thief Daredevil, because he has a kick, punches with fists and a twirl like the famous whirlwind ability in most RPG games. Even his elite skill Heavens Palm is a knockdown that lasts 4 seconds (it knockdowns and isolates the opponent and pushes back the other enemies at a distance) which in a dynamic fast paced PvP fight where every millisecond and reflexes count 4 seconds looks like a very long time.
And the third on the list is the Necromancer that gets the new elite specialization Harbinger which is the least interesting and it seems that this specialization its very dependent on the allies for healing, unlike the Reaper or Core Necro that practically have 2 health bars with the shroud and are very self efficient although lore wise it uses different elixirs for different situations like a Witcher and fires a gun with rusty bullets it’s still more like a support profession and still isn’t as efficient as the Virtuoso Mesmer.
The next longer video is about all the three new elite specializations in detail, what all the skills do, how they can be combined and linked and even detailed numbers for the damage they do and the buffs they have. Star Citizen is more of a space travel simulation than an ordinary game. The impressive graphics it has surpasses all other games about space. The developer Cloud Imperium Games has been working on the game for years and they recently published two videos about the development of the game and an offer for trying out the game for free during their current alpha testing through events called Free Fly. The first event this year starts on 18th of August.
An interesting parallel is that the term Star Citizen is very similar to the term of the astronomer Carl Sagan in the Cosmos serial where he calls himself a Citizen of the Cosmos.
The only unavoidable problem of the game is that it requires a really expensive computer and unfortunately isn’t supported by GeForce Now(GFN).

The combat is interesting because even in your fist mission you get a peculiar object that is in fact an AI (Artificial Intelligence) that fires cannons for you if you make the option available, otherwise you fire the cannons on the hull of your ship by hand, but the side cannons are more effective. While for the firing you are using the left click, it is recommended that you use the right click first for precision aiming. The spaceship needs to be positioned sideways from the target and that’s the way the battles go down where at the same time you have to be careful not to crash your ship into an asteroid, big chunks of metal or rock, another spaceship or a space station.
There is also a selection of a few different ship types that are more compatible with what you will choose to play, for example if you chose to play a merchant you will need a bigger ship to store the things you’re gonna be trading. If you chose to become a pirate you will need a more combat equipped vehicle with better weapons and you are gonna have to hire a mercenary with his own ship that you can call on every 10 minutes to help you in the battles. The Music in the game is a mixture of country and rock and fits into the game very well, there are over 20 hours of that kind of music that you can change by the radio in the game.
All in all this is a very good game that is worth taking for free while the free promotion lasts.

With the same character you can play a gladiator with a sword and shield that later becomes a paladin, or an archer that later becomes a bard, or a healer wizard or a wizard that only does damage, the choice is yours regarding what you will play and you can change the class by will.
For most classes you start from the beginning but for some classes there are limitations for example to unlock the Ninja Class you must level a fighter class know as Pugilist and to reach level 15 with it to unlock and take the Rogue Class and level that class up until level 30 and after a series of quest to start of as a Ninja, if you decide later to change to the Dark Knight class which is one of the best tanks in the game and has the iconic big two handed sword characteristic for the Final Fantasy franchise you need to level any class to level 50 to be able to start at level 30 with the Dark Knight and continue leveling.
The game starts off very slowly with lots of quests to read, and if you progress through it it becomes better and better although at the beginning it looks like nothing special. Most of the characters during the quests at the start refer to you as an “adventurer” which makes no sense since you really become an adventurer after a passed unexpected adventure. Be this as it may, the story becomes better and better with a lot more animations and dialogs and has a dose of fun humor. Most of the players love the game because of the good story, because after some time the players that are ahead of you will advise you that the fastest way to level is playing The Main Story Quest. When we are at the player base, in Final Fantasy XIV most of the players are people that have played the series all their lives and are a lot kinder and patient than other communities on other games. That is exactly one of the factors that people start to like this game, the whole community in the game is full of people that are generally nice to each other.
Playing dungeons and raids is also astonishing because it asks for presence, positioning and group coordination. The combat mechanics are very well done and the instances themselves are also fun, and there are specific training quests for each role and besides if you don’t know something about your class and you’re playing an instance the players themselves will tell you what you’re doing wrong without additional nervousness or insults, that is strange to most new people because they are used to other games where that happens all the time.
If you would like to play a good game for a change, you can indefinitely enjoy this Free Trial that has content for over 200 hours of gameplay. While the rest of the game, the other expansions above level 60 are on sale and there is a monthly subscription. So it doesn’t pay off to buy the game until you have played the Trial to the max. If you get into the game it won’t disappoint you -on the contrary it will amaze you and give you a lot of fun.
A Plague Tale Innocence is free for the taking on the Epic Games platform until the 12th of august(Thursday). It is a newer game with excellent graphics and it can be played through GeForce Now (GFN). It’s basically a stealth escort game, where you sneak through guiding your sibling by the hand and your only weapon is a sling.
The story is set in fantasy medieval France during the plague called “The Black Death ” and you play with a female character named Amisia. The intro of the game happens in a forest, and the nature is wonderfully done, later it becomes dark and has a horror atmosphere. The game has won multiple awards firstly because of the story.
The sling (that you upgrade in the game) has many functions, it can be used as a direct weapon by hitting with stones, or to make a noise if you strike metal or other objects to distract the attention of the enemies while you move forward.
Also if you get sulphur stones, you can light fires with the sling. The rats are the main enemy in the game except the soldiers of the inquisition that will attack you on sight. The rats avoid light, so you can use a light torch to repel them-of course there are lots of other mechanics. One of the more interesting ones is if the enemy soldiers carry a lantern as a source of light when there are rats around them, u can break the lantern with a stone from your sling and extinguish it and they get swarmed by rats that kill them. Also with alchemy the main character Amisia can make points of attraction for the rats to clear the way, or directly burn a group of rats in front of her.
There are lots of places where Amisia and her little brother Hugo solve different puzzles together. For example , Hugo can go through a hole in the wall to unlock a door from the other side or they operate mechanisms together.
The game is made for the Playstation 4 and it came out in 2019 so it’s a relatively new and high quality game which normally sells for about 40 euros but now you can take it for free.
Both games Diablo 3 and Path of Exile are very similar yet they are different. While Path of Exile is Free to Play and Diablo 3 is buy to play-you buy it once and don’t pay monthly fees, the availability is a very important factor. Maybe Diablo 3 looks better and it’s been worked upon in detail, but it is too short when compared to Path of Exile which has a lot more content. The Skill Tree in Path of Exile is amazing and huge, especially because of the factor that every character can be played the way you want and how will you decide to place the talents in.

The announcement and the footage from Path of Exile 2 that is still a game in the making seemed pretty good especially because you can do unlocks for Path of Exile 1. There is also footage from Diablo 4 that is also in the making and looks very well but both games look like they have some kind of gray filter on them. Of course Diablo Immortal was also announced for mobile phones and it’s not at all bad especially because it is going to be free to play. Also Diablo 2 Resurrected is coming out soon which is basically Diablo 2 with better graphics and better networking, and it’s available for preorder even now. But the stacked up prices compared to Path of Exile that is free represents a huge difference.
Recently they started adding something similar to seasons in Diablo 3 to Path of Exile. The seasons in Diablo 3 are played with brand new characters that start on level 1 (you can also use an existing character that will do the same) and you play to gather more gear, because most of the players are getting boosted to lvl 70 from friends and everyone else because that lasts like 15 minutes of Rifts and it’s not a problem to be done. There is also boosting for gear where you only have to survive and get the drops while the booster kills everything in the stage for you. Each season has a different character frame, a new minipet (the minipets in Diablo 3 gather the gold that drops for you). Those are a few moments that speed up the game progression and in a way ruin the game.

A similar moment is that in Path of Exile at the end game levels a lot of legendary weapons drop the same as in Diablo 3 and the Stash chest where players keep these legendary weapons, armor and items is getting full in both games. While in Diablo 3 you cannot directly trade with other players (you can only trade if you’ve earned the items while in the same group) in Path of Exile there are alot people that are giving away legendary weapons and armor all the time, cause those are items that are surplus for them, and instead of destroying them they are giving the items away to beginners and to people that are in too deep in the game and want or need those items. That also ruins the progression in the game.
lthough Path of Exile is online it is mostly played as a solo game,while in Diablo3 it is easier for players to group and play together. While Path of Exile may look revolting at times because there are really grotesque stages and enemies, and however there is talk that Diablo 3 is bad-its not that bad and the atmosphere is better because of the high production value content.
While you pay for expansion on Diablo 3 from which one is too short and the other only unlocks the Necromancer plus two chest tabs and there is no content except for the character class, Path of Exile offers several expansions for free.
Is Path of Exile a good replacement for Diablo? Yes and no. And the reasons are listed above. When you get to choose between these two games it’s best to choose them both.
Guild Wars 2 is one of the best MMOs at the moment although the game is basically buy to play (you buy it once and don’t pay a monthly fee) the basic version is Free To Play. Guild Wars 2 was one of the most enthusiastically awaited games back when Guild Wars 1 had a big population of players. Even with the last expansion GWEN there was a system with prizes(skins of armor and weapons, mini pets, titles) for the Guild Wars 1 players that were unlocked with a huge number of achievements and collections and were rewarded in Guildwars 2, that system was called Hall of Monuments (HOM) and it’s still active, and for a wonder there are still a lot of players on Guild Wars 1 that trade in city of Kamadan and organize in alliances where they group to play together-at the moment they mostly play elite missions. The first expansion of Guild Wars 1 called Factions was set on the continent of Cantha the same location where the expansion End of Dragons for Guild Wars 2 will also be set-it was a continent with fantasy Chinese and Japanese themes.
Guild Wars 2 looks modern and has very solid graphics, from the moment it came out up until now it’s always in the top 10 MMOs at the official gaming sites. One of the most main features of the game is that with every new expansion there is no change in the level cap, max level is 80 and stays 80 for each new expansion, unlike some other game where the gear you’ve gotten so far is outdated and there’s a new level cap and new gear to get. If you’ve made the ascended armor in Guildwars 2 the advantages stay for the next expansion also. Although the level scales between different areas, you can see the difference of having good gear by the damage.
While the verticality of Maguuma Jungle in Heart of Thorns brought new stuff like gliding with wings, and Path of Fire brought mounts to the game, End Of Dragons also brings a lot of new things. Each expansion also offers new elite specializations that are previously not available weapons for the given professions. For now we know of two new weapons namely the Messmer gets the dagger and the Necro gets the pistol.
The new expansion End of Dragons offers a few new masteries, riding boats, fishing not only in Cantha but everywhere where there is water in the previous expansions, multiplayer mount-The Siege Turtle (a big turtle that can carry two players) and 10 new legendary weapons from the third generation of legendaries. Also there will be a graphics upgrade so instead of DirectX 9 the game will use Direct X 11. The game is also supported and playable on GeForce Now.
The newest game from the “universe” of John Ronald Reuel Tolkien that will come out soon is “Gollum” – The Lord of the Rings™: Gollum™ on Steam (steampowered.com). The ongoing version of a MMORPG The Lord Of The Rings Online The Lord of the Rings Online™ on Steam (steampowered.com) is an older game that functions like a free to play and pay to play, but the free to play option is barelly playable, although you can travel to places like The Shire and Rivendell in the game and you have to unlock the quests trough achievements if you haven’t payed. But from the worst of the LOTR games we can go to the best. While in the second game Shadow of War there’s also a lot of action and also there are more animations with story. But most gamers agree that the atmosphere in the first game is better. Although there isn’t much story only the story of a cursed ranger from Gondor that hunts orcs all across Mordor join with the spirit of Celebrimbor the elven blacksmith that made the rings of power and the lack of animations there is a detailed encyclopedia about the herbs and the items that you find with the character with which you can get to know the world of Middle-earth even more.
The Nemesis system in both games is interesting where you fight different multiple orcs, captains, bodyguards to get to the orc that is your Nemesis -your arch enemy, that is parallel to the story and you can finish the story and the game will go on without end. But this time by the end of the game you gain many different abilities. One of the most interesting minigames in the game is assembling missing words on the Ithildin Doors. You are presented with a poem with missing words and you have a few words that you have to find the right spot for-to unlock the door-and behind every door there is a part of the Bright Lords set (the spirit of the blacksmith of the rings of power that you’re joined with). While the graphics in both games are great, most gamers have noticed that the combat is very much like the combat in the Batman Arkham games but the special abilities that you unlock in the endgame of these two games- differ a lot in a relation of fighting multiple enemies at once.

While the game functioned for years like missions based in relatively narrow map labyrinths it’s still one of the best group to play games out there and the old locations are updated and very playable you even don’t have to wait at all for a random group to be formed for a mission. Warframe offers instant action and instant fun. And the graphics are impressive even on older computers because the game itself is very well optimized. The Quests are great and the main story is most interesting.
The so-called farming of resources for blueprints to build weapons and armor is a big part of the game. Everyone in the game is “chasing” the newest warframes and weapons, besides that is the way of how you advance in the game.
For example most beginners think that one particular Warframe they chose and one set of weapons is enough to have in the game, but as they progress they soon find out that the game functions with gathering and leveling of more weapons above all- with which you increase your MR (Mastery Rank) the general rank of the player ingame. The more weapons, armors, pets (dogs and big cats), sentinels(robot companions), archwings (wings for flying) and other stuff-you have leveled the better your Mastery Rank is but even for the mastery rank to increase you have to take tests to earn the current rank, where some of the tests are easier if you have the right warframe for the test. Because of this the key to the game is to learn how to trade the mods and the parts that you earn. Although at first glance the game itself might seem to you like a totally Pay to Win game because you can buy almost anything with the platinum currency that sells for real money. But if you trade regularly you can gather enough platinum to buy slots for leveling different weapons.
There is also another way and its to level different weapons in one slot and just delete the maxed out weapon and go to the next weapon or warframe, they will count towards your experience but you wont have them-it is why there are players that are around MR 12 and own like 10 weapons in total-because they leveled in only one slot. Your Mastery Rank determines how many trades you have in the day, for example if youre MR 5 you can only trade 5 times in a period of 24 hours. MR12 can trade 12 times and that means a lot of more platinum and from there on the game normalizes and you will have enough for everything.
The best advice for trading is to filter the phrase WTB(Want to Buy) for the trade chat-thats done if you click on the magnifying glass on the chat menu and write in “WTB” and press filter and you will receive the trade chat messages of people that are only buyers not sellers -you simply check if you have the part, the set or the mod, you whisper (private message) the buyer and make an agreement for the price according the prices on the warframe market site where you can check the value of each item you have.Warframe Market | Most recent Buy and Sell orders
If you trade each day for a short period of time you will have enough platinum for the basic needs and sometimes even for special skins. Although the game can look grotesque from time to time it still has amazing graphical designs.
