The Public Enterprise for State Roads has finished the procedure for selecting the contractor for the second phase of the building the express road between Stip and Radovis with the length of 16.9 km. The Austrian construction company Starbag was selected as the most convenient offerer with an offer of 14.9 million euros.
-it is expected that soon a contractor will be introduced and the deadline for finishing the building will start. The timeline for building the road is planned to be 24 months- stated the Public Enterprise for State Roads for public roads.
At the moment, the percentage of accomplishing the first phase of the express road between Stip and Radovis is 70%. The deadline for putting into use the first kilometers of this road line is the end of April 2021, but due to the hastened building, it is expected that the first phase will be put into use earlier.
