In analysing the Greek newspaper “To Vima”, Ahmeti’s meeting with Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias is widely believed to be part of a Greek strategy to find a compromise and a solution over the name dispute.
Greek sources have told “Meta”, that Ahmeti’s visit is of his own accord and initiative, and are part of his own efforts to maintain contacts with the International Community.
Our sources say that this meeting is not some kind of message from the Greek Government nor was the meeting their initiative, and all the key issues that should be said were already discussed with Foreign Minister Nikola Poposki.
