The Ministry of Defense is preparing a draft-law for amending the Law for service in the Army of the Republic of Macedonia which will help solve the problems with the status of the professional soldiers, whose employment was terminated when they reached 45 years of age and the status of the personnel with special abilities of significance for the army.
“The professional soldiers to whom the employment was terminated by turning 45 years of age can be employed in the army of the Republic of Macedonia as civil personnel and the persons with special abilities for the army can be employed at the MO without a public advertisement, by an agreement with the organ where they have worked previously”, says the explanation published on the Singular National Registry of Regulations of the Republic of Macedonia.
