All minors and the elderly above 67 will be allowed to leave homes like all other citizens decides the Constitutional Court

The Constitutional Court is with a different opinion than the Committee for Infectious Diseases. During today’s session, the judges have temporarily blocked the decision for a special regime for movement of people younger than 18 and the elderly of above 67 that the Government has adopted as a protective measure against the coronavirus. With the Court’s decision, these categories can move freely like the rest of the citizens from 5 am until 7 pm.

Upon recommendation of the Committee of Infectious Diseases, the Government decided all minors and elderly citizens to have the right to go out of their homes during different time periods in order to avoid the risk of transmission of the coronavirus.

The minors can be asymptomatic carriers of the virus and in this case they can transmit the virus to the risky categories of citizens.
