Today, in Tetovo, DUI’s party leader, Ali Ahmeti had a meeting with the Ambassador of France, Christian Thimonier, during which, as was announced by the party, the political situation in Macedonia was discussed, the geopolitical circumstances and the possibilities for solving the both the political and the institutional crisis
During the meeting, Ahmeti had stated that “all constructive steps that DUI has taken for solving the crisis were in accordance with the expectations of the citizens and the international community.”.
-DUI, as a winning party of the Albanians gave its support for the reformatory parliamentary majority for a new government to be formed that will implement the agenda and the in advance set program on part of the international community through a strict implementation of the reforms in the judiciary, implementation of the Ohrid frame agreement and the Euro-Atlantic integrations – said Ahmeti.
He has informed Thimonier that DUI has continued to imply additional efforts for solving the crisis and that he has invited both Macedonian political parties, to involve without delay in the finding a solution in order to accomplish peace, stability, and safety.
-Each delay presents an opportunity for the opponents who oppose our way towards the integration into NATO and the European Union, to spread their influence and to deepen the gap between the citizens of our country – stressed Ahmeti during his meeting with Thimonier.
