7 600 health care assistants, nurses and doctors in North Macedonia working with COVID-19 patients will get a MKD 30 000 bonus

During yesterday’s visit to the Clinical hospital in Štip, the Health Minister Dr. Venko Filipche informed that 7 600 employees in the health sector that are working with COVID-19 patients will get a bonus of MKD 30 000 each.

“We are investing in infrastructure, medical equipment, and health care proffessionals by increasing the salaries. After implementing this policy, for the holiday season all employees at the public health institutions who have been working with COVID-19 patients, and are doctors, nurses, health care assistants, transporters, technical personnel that is working in hospital wards where the patients with COVID-19 are treated, will receive an award. A total of 7.600 employees in the public health sector will be awarded MKD 30 000,” stressed Filipche.
