5 warrants were issued for hate speech on social media about the tragic road accident

MOI has issued 5 warrants concerning hate speech on social media regarding the tragic road accident and it is still working on revealing other profiles on social media that are spreading hate speech, informs the Minister of Interior, Oliver Spasovski.

-Several subpoenas have been lodged to authorized public prosecutions in Skopje, Strumica and Kumanovo, and certainly if this repeats in the forthcoming days there shall be a reaction – said Spasovski.

The minister expects to receive the initial information from the investigation about the bus accident, near the village Laskarci when 14 people died and 37 were injured.

He expressed his gratitude to state and local institutions for their expedient and efficient reaction, to the doctors and the medical personnel, both from the state and the private sectors, and he stressed the citizens’ solidarity.
