The election campaign for the early elections for MPs at the R. of Macedonia’s Parliament, set for the 11th of December this year, will start on the 21st of November, announced the State Election Commission.
Representatives from the SEC also remind that starting from the day of announcing the elections until the start of the election campaign, the printed media, TV and radio broadcasting services must not broadcast or print paid political advertisements.
“Starting from the day of announcing the elections and until its ending, the broadcasting services, the printed media, and the electronic media (internet portals) must not broadcast i.e. publish advertisements financed by the R. of Macedonia’s budget, from the municipalities’ budgets and the City of Skopje and other persons that were legally were granted to perform public duties”, stated the SEC’s announcement.
Those who will violate these regulations, the State Election Commission will initiate appropriate proceedings in accordance to its authorisations.
