Zvrlevski’s replacement will have to wait its turn today to be discussed by MPs

-

After yesterday’s sixth session ended in Parliament with an argument between MPs from the opposition and the ruling party on the government’s proposal to appoint Spase Gligorov as Director of the Agency for Administration, and today’s first continuation of this session will pick up from where it left off. On the agenda is the Government’s proposal to dismiss the Attorney General of the Republic of Macedonia, Marko Zvrlevski.

The opposition objected to the appointment of Gligorov, saying that he was a member of SDSM’s Executive Board when he was proposed for the position by the Government, and said that it was a clear sign of the politicization of the administration.

After the third point on the agenda is the proposal for a draft decision on granting consent to the general acts of the Ombudsman, followed by a discussion on the proposal of the Government to dismiss the Attorney General, Marko Zvrlevski.

Considering yesterday’s experience, it is expected that today, a large number of MPs will be discussing the fourth point, as well as Zvrlevski’s replacement.
