I can only wish the new president of VMRO-DPMNE good luck and we shall all together think about the Republic of Macedonia, said Prime Minister Zoran Zaev when asked about his opinion concerning Hristija Mickoski election for a president of the biggest opposition party.
He stressed that two stable political parties such as VMRO-DPMNE and SDSM will mean stability for Macedonia.
-The end of our political opponent’s Congres and the election of a new leader should represent a perspective for the state. I expect a constructive process in the Parliament and a critical review on part of the opposition – said Zaev, when he was answering question after today’s hearing in the “Ransom” case.
Regarding the issue whether he expects VMRO-DPMNE’s MPs to return at the Parliament, Zaev said that he expects of them to correct their decision and to return, becuase on the agenda there will be important issues that will demand a two-third majority.
-I expect that Mr. Sela, who is a leader of a younger political party, that most probably wants to prove itself, will accept the vacant Vice-president for reforms place in the government. I expect such a step from the party that leads 20 serious sectors in the state’s organs. It is not possible for me to change any of the ministers that began working starting from the 1st of November immediately after the local elections – said Zaev.
