Prime Minister Zoran Zaev said that 2018 will be the year of economic development and investments. He urged domestic companies to invest because there will be no elections, but this year will be a year of work.

Zaev realized his first working meeting of the year with the Minister of Finance Dragan Tevdovski, who informed him that the total realization of capital investments for 2017 was 83.6%, ie 19.8 billion denars, which is the highest percentage of realization since 2013.

The Prime Minister added that these funds are directly given to the economy, and therefore, he expects new job vacancies, increase the domestic gross product, and make the citizens feel the economic effects and improve the flow into the family budget.

“It’s not the time for elections, it’s time to work. In 2018, there will be a stable parliamentary majority and therefore I have a message to investors to make investment plans and take brave steps. This year will be the culmination of the political crisis. The recapitulation of 2017 and the beginning of this year gives us the right to announce a good economic year”, said Zaev.
