Skopje, 25 October, 2017 - 17:26 (META)

The Macedonian government is determined to build good relations with the Republic of Kosovo, as well as with all its neighbours, and therefore actively wants to contribute to the future of the entire region of the Western Balkans, the European Union and NATO, said Prime Minister Zoran Zaev at a meeting with the Foreign Minister of Kosovo, Behgjet Pacolli, who is on a one-day working visit to Macedonia.

“We have the potential, as two new governments that want the best for their citizens and their countries, and to take necessary steps in the European integration processes”, said Zaev.

The government’s press srvice announced that at the meeting, it was jointly concluded that the Republic of Macedonia and the Republic of Kosovo do not have any open bilateral issues, which opens up great opportunities for improving relations between the two countries.

At the meeting, they also discussed the possibility of holding a meeting at the highest level, between Prime Minister Zaev and Kosovo Prime Minister, Ramush Haradinaj.
