When asked whether something has changed after yesterday’s visit by Hahn and the three MEPs, the SDSM party leader said that “things have changed significantly.”
“Yesterday, European Commissioner Hahn announced that he wants to open chapters 23 and 24, that are connected to the judiciary and security. For us, this means we will have access to dialogue since Greece has been blocking the beginning of the negotiations”, said Zaev.
When asked whether the Brussels four yesterday mentioned any sanctions, Zaev said that the EU representatives would have to answer that question.
Today, SDSM’s leader arrived at the Basic Public Prosecution (OJO) Skopje with his attorney Vane Andreev to preview the evidence material from the case with which Zaev, SDSM as a political party and a person employed by the party are suspected of “misuse while organizing an election campaign.”
Before entering OJO’s premises Zaev stated that they came to prove their innocence regarding the doubts for which they are accused of and after their review of the evidence they will prepare their defense.
